Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG - RENNtech C74 Concept
RENNtech, Florida based Mercedes-Benz tuner, has unveiled its performance upgrade package known as C74 concept for the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG at the 2010 Festival’s of Speed in Orlando, Florida.
The “74” refers to the 74 inch width of the rear wheel track which is located beneath the body work of the rear end. The number 74 is also to pay tribute to the legendary RENNtech V12 :SL 74”.
The RENNtech C74 concept Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG stands on 3-piece forged aluminum wheels measuring at 9.5×19-inch at the front and 10.5×20-inch at the rear wrapped with 275/30/CR 19 Nitto INVO performance tires at the front and 305/25/CR 20 at the rear.
Performance upgrades include RENNtech carbon fiber airbox and high performance air filters, custom air inlet panel, 82 mm throttle bodies, upgraded camshafts, modified ported and polished cylinder heads, RENNtech ECU/TCU software upgrades, stainless steel headers, sound and performance pipe, 100% Locking Limited-Slip Differential, fully adjustable sports suspension, RENNtech performance braking package stage 3 and carbon fiber front and rear stabilizer braces.
The modified Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 605 hp at 6,000 rpm and 555 lb-ft of torque. The C74 reaches 1/4 mile in 11.4 seconds with the speed of 126 mph, standing mile of 185 mph while its maximum speed is 204 mph.
