Hyundai has unveiled the i-flow HED-7 Hybrid Concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show where it will carry the company’s future design.

The Hyundai i-flow HED-7 Hybrid Concept measures at 4,780 mm long, 2,800 wide and 1,420 mm high with the wheelbase of 2,800 mm.

The seats and the center console were crafted using cutting-edge materials from BASF for minimal weight and volume.

The i-flow HED-7 is powered by a 1.7-liter diesel engine with two-stage turbocharger linked to a Lithium Ion-Polymer battery. The engine is mated to a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission that produces 85 g/km CO2.

The i-flow looks and technology points to a new D-segment family car which Hyundai plans to launch in early 2011.
